Vinod Vashisht, president Government Houses Residents Welfare Society, said after digging, these companies failed to level the roads properly, causing harassment to area residents.

He said two days ago, a resident’s car got stuck in a pit in front of his house due to the poor quality of work. He said MC officials should ensure that all ditches were levelled properly and the road dug up be repaired soon after the work was done.

Aradhana Sharma, a resident of Sector 22-A, said they had been facing a lot of inconvenience due to the digging work. “The area has become accident-prone,” she added.
