Special arrangements to be made for divyangs: DC

Fatehgarh Sahib, April 21

Fatehgarh Sahib Deputy Commissioner Parshant Kumar Goel-cum-District Election officer said nomination papers for the 2019 General Election from the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency would be filled from April 22 to 29 at the DC office.

He said no nomination would be filled on April 27 and 28.

The DC said nomination papers would be scrutinised on April 30 and candidates could withdraw their names by May 2. He added that the polls symbols would also be allotted on the same day. 

He said the polling would take place on May 19 and votes would be counted on May 23.  He said 1,750 polling booths would be set up and special arrangements would be made for divyangs.
