Dehradun, December 18
Chief Minister Harish Rawat conferred the ‘Nari Today’ Award upon Dr Sujata Sanjay of Sanjay Orthopaedic, Spine and Maternity Centre, Jakhan, at a function held in Dehradun yesterday.
The award was given to her in the field of medicine for her selfless service to humanity. Through her Society for Health Education and Women Empowerment Awareness, Dr Sujata has been holding awareness camps for adolescent girls and expectant mothers about various health problems and their solutions. She has held 185 free health camps in which more than 5,000 women have benefited.
