Traffic movement in Dehradun came to a standstill on Friday following a strike by mini public conveyances in support of the ongoing stir of truck operators.

City buses, three-wheelers, school vans and other public conveyances remained off the road, causing convenience to the public. Otherwise busy roads wore a deserted look.

Dehradun Truck Operators’ Association president Ashok Grover thanked the unions of smaller public conveyances for extending support to them.
