DEHRADUN: Chamoli Panthers defeated Bageshwar Bulls by 8 wickets in a match in the 2nd Uttarakhand Premier League played at the Rangers College ground here on Friday.

Chamoli Panthers defeated Bageshwar Bulls by 8 wickets in a match in the 2nd Uttarakhand Premier League played at the Rangers College ground here on Friday. Bageshwar Bulls batting first set a target of 116 runs, which Chamoli Panthers achieved comfortably in 15.2 overs. Ajmer Singh scored the highest 52 runs. Rajat Parmar gave an all-round performance and scored 22 runs and took 2 wickets for Chamoli Panthersz.

In another match of the day, Nainital Tigers beat Pithoragarh Strikers by 47 runs. Nainital Tigers made 185 in the first innings while Pithoragarh Strikers were all out for 138 runs. Rohit Chaudhary gave an all round performance scoring 71 runs and taking 2 wickets.

In the matches played at Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, Dehradun Smashers beat Almora Thrashers by 5 wickets while Mussoorie Masters defeated Pauri Riders by 3 wickets.
