The 48th and 49th All Breed Championship Dog Shows organised by the Patiala Kennel Club at Polo Grounds, Patiala, attracted huge crowds. Anjali Vaid from Delhi and Ranjit Singh Munjal from Kanpur judged the shows. A beautiful souvenir for the show was also released on this occasion.

A total of 211 dogs in 35 breeds participated in these shows. As many as 20 imported dogs from different countries also participated. The exhibitors from UP, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and other parts of the country participated in these shows.

A large number of German Shepherd Dogs (42), Labrador (21), Rottweiler (19), Pug (16) and Doberman (13) were seen in the shows.

Breeds such as Spaniel American Cocker, Shih Tzu, Cane Corso, Akita, Dogo Argentino, Chow Chow, Boxer, Rottweiler, Pug, Beagle GSD and Siberian Husky were the main attractions in show ground.

These shows provide an opportunity to watch exotic breeds of dogs. The spectators were amazed to see some exotic and rare breeds. Kids enjoyed watching the smallest and largest types of canine world. People in large number thronged the show.
