Khanduri questions CM’s statement

Pauri Garhwal MP BC Khanduri has questioned Chief Minister Harish Rawat’s recent statement in which he promised to come up with a law to confiscate property amassed by “corrupt” officials in the state through fraudulent means. In a statement issued yesterday, BC Khanduri reminded the Chief Minister that such a law already existed in the state. “It only needs to be implemented,” said Khanduri.

He said the sting CD incident had come as shock for him. — TNS
