Global leader in Connected Buildings  Honeywell recently announced the Honeywell Smart Building Awards 2017, in partnership with KPMG to recognise buildings that excel in three key smart building outcomes: green, safe and productive. This marks the third consecutive year Honeywell is organising these awards to promote smart building awareness within India.

Based on the Honeywell Smart Building Score last year’s awards named the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) and Infosys’s buildings 10 and 11 in Pune as India’s smartest buildings across all 13 building categories.

Emaar to invest Rs 1,200 cr in Gurugram

Emaar India, the Indian arm of Emaar Properties Dubai, has announced six new projects in Gurugram/National Capital Region with an investment of Rs 1,200 crore.

Post the initiation of demerger process last year, Emaar India had raised Rs 2,500 crore to expedite execution and completion of its ongoing projects.

“There has been a revival in the consumer sentiment for quality products and the resultant impact is felt on the demand for residential real estate projects. In line with its growth strategy, market potential and customer needs, Emaar India is gearing up for launching 1600 units over the next six months,” added Sanjay.

"This would be a mix of new projects and expansion of existing projects and would be announced very soon," he said, adding that the new projects may not be in the premium
