Sai Red Academy defeat Kullu in soccer tournament

KANGRA: Match between Una and Kangra ended in a draw on the second day of the 50th Himachal Pradesh Senior State Football Championship played at the local municipal ground here today.

Match between Una and Kangra ended in a draw on the second day of the 50th Himachal Pradesh Senior State Football Championship played at the local municipal ground here today. In another match of the day, Sai Red defeated Kullu . The championship is being organised by the Himachal Football Association and Sai Football Academy.

There was neck and neck fight between Kangra and Una which end in a 1-1 draw. In the first half of the match both teams failed to register any goal. In the 51st minute of the game, Shashi of Kangra scored the first goal of the match. It was neutralised by Una’s Anil, who converted a corner from left side into a goal. The match ended in 1-1 draw.

In another match, Sai Red defeated Kullu 3-0. Sumit of Sai Red scored the first goal in the 30th minute and Neeraj scored two goals in the first and second half of the match. In the third match, Sirmour defeated Solan 3-1. Sagar of Solan scored the first goal in the 10th minute but Sirmour team improved the game and Anuj scored the first goal followed by two subsequent goals by Rakesh and Vibor. Sirmour won the match 3-1.

In fourth match of the day, Hamirpur defeated Sai Blue 3-0. In the first half both the teams could not score even a single goal but in the second half Astik, Akshay and Manu scored three goals. They defeated Sai Blue 3-0.

In the fifth match, Mandi defeated Shimla 4-1. Taijesvi of Shimla scored the lone goal for his team in the 7th minute of the game. Mohit of Mandi scored the first goal in the first half. In the second half Lovkesh scored two goals in the 50th and 60th minute of the game.
