Dehradun: Tehri Topguns and Doon Dronas won their respective matches in the Uttarakhand Cricket League 2016 being played here on Thursday.

In the first match, Tehri Topguns beat Chamoli Chargers by 9 wickets. Batting first, Chamoli Chargers scored 87 runs and lost all its wickets in the process. Deepak Negi scored the highest 19 runs for the Chamoli Chargers. Mohammed Nazim took 3 wickets for Tehri Topguns.

In reply, Tehri Topguns easily chased the target and lost just one wicket in the process. They won the match by 9 wickets. Sonu Rathi contributed unbeaten 39 runs for the Tehri Topguns.

In another match, Doon Dronas beat Rudraprayag Raiders by 7 wickets. Batting first, Rudraprayag Raiders scored 154 runs in the allotted overs. Lakhan Singh scored the highest 45 runs for the Rudraprayag Raiders. Chasing the target, Doon Dronas easily achieved the target and lost 3 wickets in the. They won the match by 7 wickets. —TNS
