Local shopkeepers today removed makeshift structures installed by Tibetan traders at the local vegetable market in Bahadurgarh. The Tibetan market had been set up ahead of Diwali after permission from the district marketing committee.

Several shopkeepers reportedly staged dharna near the Tibetan market before removing the temporary shops being set up at that time.

Vishnu Prasad, City Police incharge, reached the spot and rounded up few protesters. He said a case had been registered against several shopkeepers under Sections 148, 149, 323 and 506 of the IPC. Hema, a Tibetan trader, said they visited Bahadurgarh every year and had fulfilled all formalities to set up the market.
