Yamunanagar DC suspends patwari

Deputy Commissioner SS Phulia has suspended a patwari for dereliction in duty on the basis of the Jagadhri SDM's report.

In his order passed on June 19, the DC said that the head office of suspended patwari Rahul Kumar would remain the Bilaspur SDM's office.

Sources said several farmers of Kail and Kathwala villages had lodged complaints on CM's Window alleging that patwari Rahul Kumar hadn’t conducted a fair girdawari of damaged wheat crop. The patwari also allegedly tampered with the record of girdwari.
