Court stays probe against IPS officer

Gurugram: A local sessions court on Tuesday stayed investigation against IPS officer Bharti Arora.

Gurugram: A local sessions court on Tuesday stayed investigation against IPS officer Bharti Arora. It issued the stay orders while hearing Arora’s appeal against recent orders of a probe against her and now deceased Road Safety Officer (RSO) in a 2015 complaint by local resident Jyotsana Bhardwaj. She had alleged Bharti got her objectionable video made and used it to harass her. Arora moved the sessions court against the order, claiming the RSO had died two years ago and Bhardwaj had an alleged history of filing fake complaints against her and was facing defamation suits.
