Hisar, January 20

Randeep Singh Surjewala, national media in charge of the Congress, today said that the youth of the state were feeling duped by the BJP government that has failed to fulfil its election promises. He was addressing a youth convention at the Panchayat Bhawan here.

Surjewala, MLA from Kaithal, said the BJP had promised to the youth of providing jobs but the government had instead rendered more than 40,000 youths jobless. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar says 7,886 youth had been given jobs during his tenure so far, exposing the BJP’s failure to fulfil its poll promise on employment, he added. — TNS
