Chandigarh, November 26
A new building of NABARD, Haryana Regional Office, was inaugurated by its Chairman Dr Harsh Kumar Bhanwala here on Monday.
He gave a brief overview of the wide-range of development initiatives undertaken by the state regional office and expressed satisfaction that it had since its inception disbursed more than Rs 1 lakh crore for the agriculture and rural development of the state.
Bhanwala appreciated the sustained growth in sanctions and disbursements for agriculture and rural infrastructure. Rachna Dikshit, Regional Director, RBI, Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, CGM, SBI, and several other senior officers were present.
As a part of the celebrations, a first-day cover and commemorative stamp were released on the occasion.
