Body of woman who ‘jumped’ with Panipat rice exporter fished out

Panipat, April 21

The dead body of a woman who went missing along with 45-year-old rice exporter Rohit Garg was fished out from Delhi-Parallel canal near Naraina village of Samalkha on Sunday.

The woman was identified as Sakshi of Model Town. The two were missing since Wednesday night.

The dead body of Rohit was fished out on Saturday from the canal near Sitawli village of Sonepat district.

The police suspected that he along with Sakshi had allegedly jumped into the Delhi-Parallel canal. His Mercedes car was found parked near the canal.
