Chandigarh: With the government proposing to merge nearly 900 schools with a strength of less than 25 students with other schools, an NGO has offered to run these schools at its own cost.

With the government proposing to merge nearly 900 schools with a strength of less than 25 students with other schools, an NGO has offered to run these schools at its own cost. The Nobel Foundation, a Ludhiana-based NGO, offered to provide teaching staff along with free books etc for the students of these schools. — TNS
