Sonepat: Uttarakhand defeated hosts Haryana by 10 wickets in the final of the six-day Second National School India Cup Cricket Championship at PM Global School cricket ground here on Sunday. Batting first, Haryana were bowled out for 100 in 31 overs. Their batsmen failed to hold on the inning and wickets fell at regular intervals. Amandeep claimed three wickets for just 10 runs; whereas Ankit and Vipin also captured two wickets each. In reply, Uttarakhand achieved the target in 15th over. Their opener Manmohan scored 89 runs on just 57 balls. Manmohan was adjudged man of the match while Mohit Malik, captain, Haryana, was adjudged man of the championship.
