1,000 LPG connections given to poor

Over 1,000 LPG connections were given to BPL families in Una district today under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna and the Grahini Suvidha Yojna at three separate functions.

Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar distributed 209 LPG connections at a function held at the Bangana in Kutlehar Assembly segment.

BJP state president Satpal Satti distributed 465 connections to beneficiaries at Una, while vice-chairman of the HP State Industries Corporation Ram Kumar gave away 376 connections to women of Haroli Assembly segment at Khad village.
