KANGRA: Dharamsala and its nearby areas received rain on Sunday afternoon while Dhauladhar ranges and its foothills experienced fresh snow, bringing down the temperatures. The sky was overcast in Dharamsala and McLeodganj and it started raining which lasted for nearly an hour. Kangra town and its suburbs remained sunny in the day. However, cold winds continued to blow due to snowfall on the Dhauladhars. In Dharamsala, 3.4 mm rain was recorded whereas it was 1 mm at Kangra. The maximum temperature dropped to 25.4 degree C in Kangra and it touched 18.8 in Dharamsala. The minimum temperature dropped to 9.5 degree C and in Dharamsala it was 8.6 degree C. Jwalamukhi and Dehra also had rain. OC
