Waiting areas opened at Sectt, Oak Over

Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Friday inaugurated waiting rooms at his official residence, Oak Over, and at the Secretariat.

Addressing mediapersons, the Chief Minister said it was felt that people coming to meet him and other ministers at the Secretariat were facing inconvenience in the absence of proper waiting area. Elderly and physically disabled were the worst affected. Similarly, there was no waiting area for visitors at Oak Over, he added.

The Chief Minister said waiting rooms at Oak Over and at the Secretariat had a sitting capacity of 250 and 150 persons, respectively.
