Major reshuffle in state admn

SRINAGAR: Governor NN Vohra on Thursday ordered transfer of seven top IAS officers.

Governor NN Vohra on Thursday ordered transfer of seven top IAS officers.

The officers who have been transferred include Principal Secretary to the outgoing Chief Minister Rohit Kansal; Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), Khursheed Ahmad Shah; and Officer on Special Duty in GAD Hilal Ahmad Parrey.

Parrey has been posted as Commissioner Secretary in the General Administration Department.

Khursheed Ahmad Shah has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to the Public Works Department.

Kansal has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. He will also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department.

Deeraj Gupta, Principal Secretary (Coordination), Resident Commission, J&K Government, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. He will also hold the additional charge of Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi.

Sanjeev Verma, Commissioner Secretary to the Public Works Ddepartment, has been transferred and posted as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.

Hemant Kumar Sharma, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Secretary to the Administrative Reforms, Inspections and Training Department vice Javid Ahmad Panju, who shall report to the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.

Syed Sehrish Asgar, awaiting orders of adjustment, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, vice Mohammad Haroon.

Haroon, a KAS officer, has been transferred and posted as Director, Command Area Development, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
