Jalandhar, August 6

A 55-year-old man, an owner of a factory, today committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at the factory.

Before hanging himself, the deceased, Surinder Pal, recorded a video in his mobile phone in which he mentioned the names of people who had forced him to take the extreme step.

He was reportedly running his factory Kundan Industries at New Aman Nagar.

The investigation officer, Police Division 8 SHO, Arun Kumar, said in his video, Pal had taken the names of Ashok Kumar, owner of Subhas Agro, the victim’s daughter-in-law, and his son’s in-laws.
