Jalandhar, April 26

A migratory worker was found dead inside a factory of the Leather Complex. The deceased has been identified as Pankaj, a native of Bihar.

While the police are considering it to be a case of suicide, Pankaj’s family is claiming it to be a murder by fellow workers. According to his brother Santosh, Pankaj was working in the factory No. 90 for the past few months and was facing resistance from fellow workers.

Pankaj’s head was found severed from the rear side and a sharp weapon was also found near his body. While fellow workers have claimed it to be a case of suicide and informed the police that Pankaj has cut his neck himself, the police are investigating the case.

An FIR pertaining to the case has been registered at the local police station and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
