Passing-out parade for 312 Rajasthan cops organised

KHARKAN (HOSHIARPUR): The ‘Dikshant Parade’ (passing out parade) of batch No 52 and 53 of basic recruit constables, comprising 312 recruits, including 218 female recruit constables, of Rajasthan Prisons Department was held at the parade ground of Subsidiary Training Centre, Border Security Force, Kharkan Camp.

Kharkan (Hoshiarpur), February 22

The ‘Dikshant Parade’ (passing out parade) of batch No 52 and 53 of basic recruit constables, comprising 312 recruits, including 218 female recruit constables, of Rajasthan Prisons Department was held at the parade ground of Subsidiary Training Centre, Border Security Force, Kharkan Camp.

The constables took oath to serve the nation with full dedication. IGP(Jail), Jaipur, Rupinder Singh from Rajasthan reviewed the Parade as the chief guest.

A total of 96 men and 218 women recruits from Rajasthan state passed out to be warders in Rajasthan Prison Department.

The parade was nurtured by 2 IC Officiating Commandant, Kamal Bhagat; 2 IC (Trg) Vikash Sundriyal; DC Surender Pal; DC Hinglaz Danand under command and supervision of IG, STC, BSF Kharkan Camp, PS Bains.

IG Bains said: “The new constables have undergone tough ‘Basic Recruit Training’ of 24 weeks which includes — all syllabus concerned to jail warders; introduction of prison and their rules; working system; psychology; criminology; the Constitution of the country; human rights; working in emergency; communication skills; personality development; gender sensitivity and sports activities to make them perfect for facing all types of conditions efficiently while performing their duties.”

He told that all these indoor and outdoor training activities were conducted under the supervision of the faculty of trainers from BSF.

Chief Guest IGP (Jail) Jaipur, Rupinder Singh, exhorted the new constables to be honest and committed to duty at prison. He appreciated the efforts put in by trainers and rewarded top position holders in various fields.
