Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is directed by Shree Narayan Singh. It has been co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. Anupam Kher and Sana Khan are seen in supporting roles.

It is a satirical comedy in support of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions with emphasis on the eradication of open defecation, especially in rural areas. The film is written by Siddharth Singh and Garima Wahal, the writers of the 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, and shares some similarities with a true event in which 19-year old Priyanka Bharti fled her husband's home in 2012, when there was no toilet...

Rocking chemistry

The movie's pace is good and engaging. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's chemistry rocks! The film’s comic dialogues made me laugh a number of times. Some people left halfway, but I saw the entire movie and loved it. Second half of the movie was all about giving a message to the people maybe that's why people got up and left.

Good plot

This is an entertaining movie. The narrative and story of the film was good, but the acting and chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar is average. It is a one-time watch, even though it had a good plot.

Average fare

Open defecation is a problem in India and in villages people don't have toilets in their houses. We are hoping that this movie make people finally realise the importance of making toilets in their home. The plot of the movie was well thought but the acting and music was average. We did not see the climax of the movie because we did not think that the actors could do a good job in keeping us glued and I think the end of the movie is somewhat known.

Social message

Good movie with good dialogue-delivery. It is one of the few movies in India with a social message. I hope it brings a change in the society.

Mehar Khan, cosmetologist

Very relatable

This is a nice movie with a very good social message. I would recommend everyone to watch it. And it is going to influence many people in the villages to make toilets in their house. People left half way maybe because they did not understand why the movie has been made.

Atomic Blonde

Atomic Blonde is an American action-spy thriller directed by David Leitch, in his first solo directorial credit, and written by Kurt Johnstad. It is based on Antony Johnston and Sam Hart's 2012 graphic novel The Coldest City, published by Oni Press, which revolves around a spy who has to find a list of double agents who are being smuggled into the West, on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989. The film stars Charlize Theron and James McAvoy, with John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella and Toby Jones in supporting roles.

Full of action

I love the film and its action sequences. It’s gripping and very interesting!
