Bardekey and Chhajjawal hockey teams emerged winner and runner-up, respectively, in the three-day hockey tournament which concluded at Nathowal village today.
Gurmit Singh Geeta and Kulvir Singh of Chhajjawal team were declared Man of the Tournament and Man of the Match, respectively.
In Kabbadi, teams of Chakk Bhaie Ka and Banawali emerged winners in 75-kg and 65-kg category, respectively, and Hamidi and Nathowal teams were second in these categories.
Tournament Convener Raj Khan said 32 hockey teams from various parts of the state had participated in the event which was inaugurated by the District Public Relation Officer Prabhdeep Singh at Nathowal village on Sunday.
