NEW DELHI: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar interacted with his counterparts from several countries on the sidelines of the G-20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Nagoya, Japan, on Saturday.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar interacted with his counterparts from several countries on the sidelines of the G-20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in Nagoya, Japan, on Saturday. 

Tweeting about his meetings, Jaishankar said he met Foreign Ministers of Japan, Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Singapore, China, Spain, Australia, Chile and France.

With his counterpart Marise Payne, Jaishankar said he worked on the agenda for the upcoming visit of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. 

He had a “good discussion’’ with French Minister of State Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne on the Indo-Pacific strategic landscape. The Minister said after his bilateral meeting with his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi that he looked forward to welcoming him in India soon. 

With Foreign Minister of Spain Josep Borrell, Jaishankar discussed the “future of our ties with the EU”. He also met Chilean Foreign Minister Teodoro Ribera Neumann to prepare the ground for expanding cooperation.
