Lucknow, December 6

BSP president Mayawati on Thursday hit out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath charging him of “first diving people, and now even Gods and Goddesses on caste lines”.

On the ‘Mahanirvan Diwas’ of the father of the Constitution BR Ambedkar, Mayawati alleged some people had stooped so low for electoral gains that they were not even sparing Hindu Gods.

“Yogi’s statement that Lord Hanuman belonged to the Dalit samaj has become a matter of debate throughout the country. It has given rise to the demand that all Hanuman temples be handed over to the Dalits and Dalit priests be appointed at Hanuman temples,” said Mayawati.
