Another woman dies due to contaminated water

Another woman, Manpreet Kaur, who fell ill on April 15 after drinking contaminated water in the fields owned by RD Bishnoi, senior Akali leader, died on Wednesday. Water samples were taken. Six women farm workers were hospitalised as they fell ill reportedly after drinking contaminated water. The doctors referred them to Faridkot where Kulwinder Kaur (60) died on April 16. — OC
