MOHALI: The police have arrested a 27-year-old man on the charge of raping a 26-year-old woman in March last year. The man has been identified as Rajat, who was held from Nabha. He was produced before the court on Saturday and was remanded in 14-day judicial custody. The incident took place on March 30 last year within the Mataur police station limits. Shop ransacked, 2 arrested
Abohar: Six miscreants allegedly ransacked a shop near the City-2 police station here over some minor dispute and damaged furniture and fixtures. A case was filed. Arya Nagar residents Sanjay Kumar and Rakesh Kumar were arrested, while four others are absconding. — OC
