SHO suspended in addict’s death case

Fazilka: Lekh Raj, SHO of the Chack Vairoke police station here, has been suspended failing to nab accused in a case involving the death of a drug addict at Mahalam village on December 2. The accused, a woman drug supplier, had sold drugs to victim Beant Singh. The 28-year-old man had died allegedly due to drug overdose. Sheelo Bai was booked under Section 304 of the IPC. But she has not been arrested so far. OC
