Bathinda, October 20

The Department of Computer Science & Applications of Malwa College, Bathinda, organised “AGAAZ-2018 ”, a freshers’ party for BCA (Ist) year students. Music, dance, ramp walk and various entertainment programmes were presented by the students, which kept the audience enthralled.

Dr BK Garg, principal, was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Sarbjeet Kaur Dhillon, Deputy Director (Computer), welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the achievements of the department. Dr Garg inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Students of the Computer Science and Applications department mesmerised the audience with stunning performances.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Ramandeep Kaur, Navdeep Singh, and Sukhbir Singh were adjudged Ms Fresher, Ms Gorgeous, Mr Fresher and Mr Perfect, respectively. The Title of Ms Beautiful Hair and Ms High Heels were secured by Parwinder Kaur and Jasmeet Kaur. Dr Sarbjeet Kaur Dhillon and Parmvir Kaur adjudged the performances.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr BK Garg said the students needed to work hard for a bright future and should strive to achieve higher goals in life. The winners of various events were given prizes. The programme was anchored by Simranjeet Kaur and Amandeep Kaur. Members of the faculty and students were present in large numbers.
