Mohali, January 29

Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences introduced a sensitisation programme on the LGBTQI community for MBBS students on Monday. The programme aims to provide healthcare and create an inclusive environment for the LGBTQI community. The primary focus of the programme is on understanding needs and practices to improve healthcare access to the LGBTQI community.

It’s a two-day programme (January 29-30) wherein speakers working for the community have been invited to share their first hand experiences and perspectives with MBBS students to enhance their learning. The programme has potential to make a real difference in promoting health and an inclusive environment for everyone.
