3-day basketball meet from today

Chandigarh, October 22 

The New Public School, Sector 18, will host the annual Rao Jai Singh Memorial Basketball Tournament for U-19 boys and Shanta H Singh Memorial Basketball Tournament for U-19 girls from October 23-25. 

Apart from hosts, seven other teams — St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Creane Memorial High School (Gaya), Police DAV School (Amritsar), PMLSD Public School, Chitkara International School, Kwhaja Model School (Ajmer) and SGGS Colligate School — will vie for the top honours in the the boys’ category. 

The girls’ competition will feature New Public School, Creane Memorial High School, Vivek High School, Government Girls Model School (Roopnagar), Carmel Convent, Sacred Heart, Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School (Sector 20) and Guru Nanak Public School. — TNS
