Chandigarh, March 6

In a day of upsets, second seed Aman Dahiya and eighth seed Suhitha Maruri won the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors (Grade-4) for boys and girls, respectively.

In the boys’ U-18 final, second seed Dahiya stunned top seed Nishant Dabas in straight sets 6-0, 6-4. In the girls’ U-18 title clash, Suhitha returned from one set down to defeat third seeded Reshma Maruri. Suhitha logged a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory to lift the title.
