The Rotary Club, Kharar, today organised a blood donation camp at the Civil Hospital, Kharar, under the leadership of president Rotarian Harinder Singh Pal and project chairman Rotarian Kamaldeep Singh Tiwana.
Rotarian Harpreet Singh Rekhy, press secretary of club, said the camp was inaugurated by chief guest Civil Surgeon Dr Manjit Singh, who, besides appreciating the Rotary effort, suggested to chalk out a programme with the coordination of the Health Department to eradicate drug abuse. Seventy one units of blood were collected under the leadership of SMO Dr Surinder Singh and Dr. Rajnit Kaur. Students of Chandigarh University, Gharuan, made a special contribution in the camp.— OC
