Shooting accused identified

CHANDIGARH:An FIR was registered on Friday under the Arms Act against three persons, who allegedly shot Bunty of RamDarbar, on Thursday.



Chandigarh, September 21

An FIR was registered on Friday under the Arms Act against three persons, who allegedly shot Bunty of RamDarbar, on Thursday.

The accused have been identified as Ram Kumar, Munna and Gorav on the complaint of the victim’s wife. However, the police are collecting evidence to prove the allegations levelled against the accused persons. 

“The investigation is underway and we are still collecting evidences. An FIR has been registered on the complaint of the victim’s wife against the three men,” said Gurjit Kaur, SHO, Sector 31.

Bunty was shot a bullet in full public view by three assailants on Thursday evening. He was referred to GMCH-32. Police sources confirmed that the victim was now stable.  — TNS
