Training program organised

MOHALI: Manav Rachna International School, Mohali, conducted a two-day rigorous training for the teachers. All teachers of Mohali branch, along with 35 teachers of the MRIS, Ludhiana, attended the training conducted by the academic excellence team.

All teachers of Mohali branch, along with 35 teachers of the MRIS, Ludhiana, attended the training conducted by the academic excellence team. The resource persons were the subject experts with years of profound experience in their respective fields. 

Brilliance World, Panchkula

Hygiene Day and International Earth Day was celebrated at Brilliance World School, Sector 12, Panchkula, in association with the Parivartan Welfare Association. A seminar was also organised on the occasion. Chairman Shri Sham Sundar said: “We expanded the membership by introducing Usha Sharma and Satvinder Kaur as directors and Shivani Verma as the brand ambassador.” 

St Soldier, Mohali

St Soldier International Convent School, Phase 7, organised a workshop for the faculty members. The workshop was to enhance the understanding, development and confidence of the participants and empower them. All sessions were participative. Live examples, case studies, videos, group discussions and group work were the means of learning. 

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula

 Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, organised a plethora of workshops — Bharatnatyam and western summer dance workshop in collaboration with the Kalamandalam, a team of internationally renowned dancers. Many children joined the workshop and learnt various dance forms such as free style, Bollywood, semi-classical bhangra, Bharatnatyam and folk dances. In addition to it, the school also organised gymnastics, badminton, basketball, chess, cricket, skating and yoga workshops. Principal Gulshan Kaur mentioned that such workshops revitalise the participants.

Solitaire International, Panchkula

As part of the summer camp, ‘Beat the Heat’, art and craft remained the activity of the day at Solitaire International School, Sector 20, Panchkula. Students also learnt to make greeting cards. 

DPS, Chandigarh

Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, organised a summer camp for children. A number of fun activities such as spy game, sprinkler fun, Bollywood day, theme party, grooming sessions and art and craft. The camp concluded with a the Father’s Day celebrations (junior category) and a theatre display (senior category). tns
