AMBALA: A local woman has accused her second husband of abducting her four-year-old son, the police said here today.



Ambala, July 11

A local woman has accused her second husband of abducting her four-year-old son, the police said here today.

According to officials, Poonam of Ambala City reported that she was married to Kashmir Singh in 2017 after her first husband Amit Kumar had died of cardiac arrest in 2016. She had two sons – Rishav (7) and Vivan (4).

The woman complained to the police that on July 9 around 8 pm, her second husband Kashmir Singh came to her place and took her younger son Vivan away without asking or telling her anything.

“Kashmir Singh had been living separately from me for the past three-four months. I had been living along with my two sons with my parents at Shakti Colony here,” she said while seeking police intervention in recovering her son and initiating action against her husband.

The police have registered a case of abduction under Section 365 of the IPC. — TNS
