Boy takes poison, accidentally

DERA BASSI:A student of Government Senior Secondary School, Amlala, was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh, after he took poison by mistake.

A student of Government Senior Secondary School, Amlala, was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, Chandigarh, after he took poison by mistake.

The condition of the boy, Gurvinder Singh (17) of Chandiala village, is stated to be critical. He was taken to the Civil hospital, Dera Bassi, from where doctors referred him to the GMCH-32. The police said the possibility of suicide attempt could not be ruled out. — OC
