Sec 22 to have addl sewer line

CHANDIGARH: Mayor Rajesh Kalia laid the foundation stone of an additional sewer line in Sector 22 here.

Mayor Rajesh Kalia laid the foundation stone of an additional sewer line in Sector 22 here.

The sewer line will be laid on the rear of a market area that has been witnessing blockages frequently.

The Mayor said the 250-mm sewer line would be laid in 3 km area to avoid blocking of the existing sewer line. The project will cost the MC Rs 76.31 lakh.

Ravi Kant Sharma, area councillor, Shailender Singh, Chief Engineer, other councillors and officers along with prominent persons of the market and sector were present on the occasion. — TNS
