Zimbabwean woman held with 15 kg drugs

NEW DELHI: CISF officials during patrolling noticed suspicious movement of a foreign woman passenger in check-in area of T-3, at IGI Airport.



New Delhi, November 15

CISF officials during patrolling noticed suspicious movement of a foreign woman passenger in check-in area of T-3, at IGI Airport.

The woman was identified as Norest Gwatidzo (45), Zimbabwe national, who was supposed to travel to Addis Ababa by Ethiopian Airlines flight. Her baggage was passed through the X-ray machine. 

On search of the bag, 15 brown-colour polythene pouches (weighing about 1 kg each) filled with Pseudoephedrine drug (wroth approximately Rs 23 lakh in the international market) were found. Senior officials of the CISF and the NCB were informed. — TNS
