Mumbai police sends summon to Kangana Ranaut; the actress reacts

Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have been summoned by the Mumbai Police in a sedition case. According to reports, the sisters have been asked to appear for questioning on October 26 and 27. The summon was sent after an FIR was filed against the two last week, following an order by a Mumbai court. The order was passed after a casting director, who petitioned in the court, alleged that the actress is creating ‘a communal divide’ between people of two communities and in the mind of common man via her tweets.

The complaint includes Kangana’s tweets in which she compared BMC to Babur Sena, when she claimed that she was the first person to make a movie on Jhansi Ki Rani and also when she compared Mumbai to POK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir).

As soon as the news broke, Kangana took to Twitter, tagged one of the reports and wrote, “Obsessed penguin Sena ... Pappu pro of Maharashtra, bahut yaad aati hai k-k-k-k-k-Kangana, koi baat nahin jaldi aa jaungi ...”

Meanwhile, the actress is in Manali currently with her family as her brother Aksht got hitched on Wednesday. Kangana has been sharing all updates from pre-wedding to the wedding ceremonies with fans on social media.
