27 Bangladesh nationals held in Mahendragarh village

Mahendragarh, January 21

The Narnaul police have arrested 27 Bangladesh nationals from a brick-kiln at Salooni village for working there without any valid documents.

Seven of them are children aged below six years and four are juvenile. They were produced in a court, which sent the adults to judicial custody while the juveniles were sent to Borstal Jail in Karnal.

“Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a raid at Pahalwan brick-kiln in Salooni village and found 27 natives of Bangladesh working there. They could not produce any valid documents on being asked for the same. They had been working at various brick-kilns in the area for the past two years,” said investigation officer Sat Narayan.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Foreigners Act, 1946.
