To ensure housing for all by 2022, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today held a meeting regarding the ‘Housing for All’ scheme and directed the authorities to prepare a comprehensive scheme for the rehabilitation of urban slums in the state by providing residential flats to the slum dwellers at affordable prices.

To begin with, Faridabad and Gurugram are proposed to be taken up under the scheme. The CM said the scheme would subsequently be rolled out in other big cities of the state too. — TNS
