HP-90-009 number sold for Rs 18.22 lakh in Shahpur area of Kangra

While most of the people are facing a financial crunch due to the corona pandemic and lockdown imposed due to it, there are some who are still spending a fortune for VIP numbers.

In Shahpur subdivision on Tuesday, HP-90-0009 number was sold through an auction at a cost of Rs 18.22 lakh.

The number was bought by a Karnal-based company, Rahul Pam.

Another interesting fact was that the number has been bought for a scooter worth Rs 80,000, the sources available here said.

The sources in the office of SDM Shahpur informed that a total 5 VIP numbers were auctioned which fetched Rs 24 lakh. Out of this, Rs 18.22 lakh was spent on just one HP-90-0009 number.
