Dharamsala, February 28

National Science Day was celebrated at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government College, Takipur, today. During this programme, essay writing and quiz competitions were organised and the students participated enthusiastically. Around 50 students participated in essay writing and students expressed their views on climate change.

Ritika Devi secured the first position, the second position was won by Ankita and Anant Bala, and Piyusha Thakur secured the third position. In the quiz competition, Ankita’s group bagged the first place, Anjali’s group the second and, Komal and Sunil’s group bagged the third place.

Principal KS Atri highlighted CV Raman’s works, scientific approach and the importance of this day. He urged the students to participate in such activities and also congratulated the participants and winners of the competitions.
