Panel finalises report on new colleges

Jammu: A high-level committee, headed by Principal Secretary, Finance, Navin K Choudhary, constituted by the government to facilitate establishment of new degree colleges in the state met here on Tuesday and finalised its report.



Jammu: A high-level committee, headed by Principal Secretary, Finance, Navin K Choudhary, constituted by the government to facilitate establishment of new degree colleges in the state met here on Tuesday and finalised its report. The meeting examined various issues, including identification of locations for setting up new degree colleges. After a discussion on various issues, including potential of areas, feeding schools, enrolment of students in the feeding schools and feasibility for setting up institutions, the committee finalised its report.
