Kashmir’s popular eatery ‘Parsa’s’ on Sunday launched its outlet at Leh in the Ladakh region.

“My aim is to bridge the gap between the two regions of the state and what better way to do it than breaking bread together,” said founder of Parsa Foods, Javed Parsa, after the inauguration.

Famous for its rolls and other food items, Parsa said he aimed to take his ‘scrumptious rolls to every corner of the state’. “We already have two outlets in Kashmir and we are set to open up two more at the Baramulla market and Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora,” he said.

Parsa said they got an overwhelming response at the new Leh outlet. “While the Leh outlet might just be the highest ‘rolling joint’ in the world, the tough terrain didn’t stop hundreds from thronging the opening of the much-loved Kashmiri brand, known for its pocket-friendly rates and quality food,” he said.

The new Leh outlet maintained the distinguishing feature of all Parsa’s outlets of having a book bank of over a 1,000 books as well as a warm and cozy reading nook for bibliophiles, he added.
